Why House groups?
We believe that small groups provide the most effective place for individuals and the Church to grow and mature in discipleship.
The bible tells us the following:
· Moses split the people of Israelite into groups of ten to lead and care for them more effectively. (Exodus 18)
· The early church met in homes. (Acts 2:46)
House groups have for many proven to be the best place to:
· Grow as Christians.
· To have fellowship with other Christians
· To learn together
· To Care for each other
· To reach out to other people.
Being part of a house groups will especially help us grow in the following ways:
· growing up (SPIRITUAL DISCIPLESHIP)
· growing together(CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP)
Therefore helping fulfil 2 of our growth vision objectives.
House group Format
The house group format is flexible and might be different from week to week however we generally follow the 4 Ws model used by many churches, which include:
Welcome usually a relaxed ice-breaker.
Worship a chance to focus on God and what he has done.
Word time to hear from God through studying the bible (usually through discussion or video)
Work we usually take time to pray for people in need.
The house groups also arrange social events on a regular basis.
How do I get involved?
To join a house group it is easy as ABC (choose an option):
